# Empower Your Moderators

Every message understood, every language covered — moderation without limits.

## See Everything in Your Language

Every foreign-language message is translated so your mods read all of chat — Korean, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, no blind spots. They see what is actually being said, not a guess.

## Catch What Literal Translation Misses

Harassment often hides in slang and coded phrasing that generic translation reads as harmless. Universal Translator translates slang by its meaning, one message at a time, so your mods see what a message actually says — and decide: timeout, ban, or welcome.

## Keep the Vibe Positive

Less time deciphering messages means more time welcoming people. Your mods build the community instead of fighting the language barrier. Happy chat, happy stream.

## Let Your Mods Start Giveaways

In your giveaway queue, mark which giveaways your mods may start. A moderator types !giveaway start in chat and the next of those giveaways goes live — no need to be at your dashboard.

Your mods shouldn't need to speak 50+ languages — the bot does it for them.

## What can Universal Translator not do?

- It translates chat, not your voice: there are no subtitles or captions of your stream audio.
- It works on Twitch only for now.
- Replying with !translate needs a paid plan. Incoming chat is translated on every plan, including the free one.

If you need subtitles of your voice, StreamTranslate does that and runs alongside the bot: https://streamtranslate.live/?utm_source=universal-translator.io&utm_medium=referral
